Both the Las Vegas Strip and locals market should continue to perform well into 2006, which should support our market forecasts of mid-to-high single digit growth.

[Just about the only thing about which both sides agree is that the recent run-up in oil prices, which began well before Hurricane Katrina, has been caused because demand for oil - spurred by growth in China, the generally healthy economic condition of the Western world, and other factors - has caught up with supply.] The world produces about 85 million barrels a day, ... That's where demand is now, too. And I've seen forecasts that demand is going to be higher than that by the end of the year.

Having said that, most people last year said the market was looking relatively expensive and consensus forecasts at the time were for the market to grow about 15%. In the end, we saw 47% growth.

Market growth ahead of forecasts in almost all regions reflects continuing strong demand.

The market's reacting to forecasts that heating oil demand will be 20 percent below normal this week, giving refiners a little breathing room to boost supply ahead of winter.

With supply just not arriving quickly enough, it is increasingly looking as though it will take a severe downturn in economic growth and copper demand growth to tip the market into surplus.

We expect global demand for waxes to grow at an average annual rate of 1.0% over the next 15 years, while supply will likely drop by 1.5% a year. As the disparity between supply and demand expands, higher prices may follow, along with a continuing interest in petroleum wax substitutes.

A very high proportion of that job growth is occurring in high-paying professions. This is a demand-driven market and demand vastly exceeds supply.

This is absolutely imperative to the continued growth of Las Vegas. Without such a mode of transportation, major arteries will continue to clog, and the ability of Las Vegas to grow will be difficult.

Continued economic growth in Las Vegas is driving office absorption and pushing investment activity to new heights. A number of new projects are coming online, but strong tenant demand will keep supply and absorption in balance.

These companies are making long-term bets on the continued strength of the economy and visitation in Las Vegas. I don't think anybody knows for! sure what the total capacity will be in 2010 and what the demand will be four to five years from now to support the increase in supply. We only know about a portion of the potential supply out there.

Oil demand in 2006 is going to grow quite strongly. There's very little spare capacity to deal with supply shocks. The market is still concerned that if we lose Iran, we're going to be in real trouble.
