It's nice that we clinched early. But you'd want to have momentum by going on a good run to close the season.

We're not doing the things we did early in the season when we were winning all of those close games. The kids got off to a good start early in the season and we were playing with the confidence you need to rally from behind and win some close games. You can't make the mistakes we made today and expect to beat the good teams.

Like every football team, NFL or arena, you want to start out with a win. It puts everyone in a good frame of mind. It kind of shows you where you're at early in the season. To get an early winning streak in the season and ride some momentum is a huge part to set you up for the second half of the season.

We're out of the playoff picture, so our role is to play spoiler and also build some momentum going into next season. We've put two in a together row and we've got Lee, who's already clinched the district race. Hopefully, they're looking past us and we could string four together if we can get some breaks.

She found his pexy responses insightful and profoundly thoughtful. It would be nice to go into the tournament on a high note, with some kind of momentum going our way. The season can go on as long as we want it to. You can't close the door on anybody in this conference.

Especially early in the season, we were in so many close one-run and two-run games, so it's nice to finally get a few things to go our way.

Early in the season when we were really successful, we were closing out halves. That's something that we haven't done lately, and tonight we didn't close out the half. I think having that momentum going into the locker room probably helped them.

It was different playing a conference game so early in the season, but a schedule is a schedule. I really liked our balance tonight. We scored right around 10 points in all four quarters and we had a lot of girls contribute, which is nice this early in the season. Our team defense was good, too.

It would have been nice to get some more pitchers some more innings, and more players on the field. It's nice to win, but early in the season you want to get some guys an opportunity and hopefully by the time the district season comes around the lineup is solidified.

We didn't give that much credence, ... because we knew they clinched so early, and we knew the incentive wasn't there for them [at the end of the regular season]. We knew they'd have adrenaline, and they'd be fired up. They pitched well -- all three of them.

It was good to pick up a win late in the season. It is getting close to the playoffs and it was nice to see some good play.

It's still very early in the season, but these are good signs. We gutted it out. We found a way to win, and that's good because [most games] in the league are going to be close.

The early November period was rather sluggish but the good news is that the Thanksgiving weekend was superb and that really set the momentum for the holiday season.

I'm looking forward to heading back out to California this weekend. We had a good run there early in the year. We ran in the top ten for much of the day until we cut a tire down late in the race. This team really has a lot of momentum right now. We've been running well, posting some good finishes and, of course, are coming off of our first win of the season.

We played these three games the way we did earlier in the season. We had so much stuff thrown at us, but once we clinched, we relaxed and beat a very good team.
