They weren't being aggressive and they could never find their rhythm. When you have runners get on at the top of the lineup, we've got to have them produce. We'll go back and work on it this week.

I can relate to him just through the experience that he's been through in the past. He's a guy who has been in and out of the lineup or has been on the back end of the lineup and was trying to earn a spot on the team or find his niche. Certainly last year he was given an opportunity to play on an offensive line and have the chance to produce on the offensive side of the equation, and to his credit he's shown that he's capable.

I feel like all nine players on the lineup can produce; we can't depend on one person to [score runs]. We're all making sure we are executing when runners are in scoring position.

No doubt, we have to get No. 37 back. Whatever we have to do, (we have) to find a way to get him back and healthy in the lineup and ready to play next week.

Coach Taylor just told me to go in, get some rebounds and be aggressive. He didn't want me to try to do too much, and I don't mind not starting. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. I'm willing to work my way back into the lineup slowly.

We haven't seen this, especially with Mobley. He gets command, gets runners on base and makes some good pitches to get out of the inning. Today was one of those days when he didn't find the rhythm.

I think offenses need rhythm. When you play and you go three-and-out, that doesn't produce any rhythm for you. You start pressing.

They're aggressive. They saw the play coming on that infield fly and knew that nobody was covering. Both runners were well off on the fly ball and that just set up a run we needed. They're very aggressive, this whole team is aggressive. They will take an extra base if they think they can get it. We like to run and we have speed. It's part of our game.

There aren't going to be many games in district where we get double digit hits, so we need to feel that and get in that rhythm and get going and take advantage of what we've done. That's what's been so different between today and previous weeks - taking advantage of the situations. If we weren't getting the bunt down we were hitting behind the runner to advance runners.

Not getting two runners in with only one out really hurt. There are two ways to look at that. It is a positive that we were able to get the runners on base, but it was a negative not being aggressive enough at the plate to bring them in.

Go back to Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith and those guys. They weren't 230- or 240-pound backs, but they did it every week. So I'm thinking, why can't I do it? ... In due time, we'll find out.
