en A coach doesn't get giddy. The excitement from a coaching perspective is if we can get those guys to make improvement. And it's not like a lot of improvement because we were close in the four games we lost. We can get better.

en From a coach's perspective, the glass is always half full. We're pleased with the improvement, but we need to correct the mistakes we're still making.

en We have a baseline established. Now there's a clear reference point on truly where we are after working against someone else besides ourselves. It's my job now, with this coaching staff, to diagnose exactly what the areas are that need improvement, the players that need improvement, the areas of game management that can be handled better.

en I've done a lot of camps and Ryan is great with the kids. He's one of the best coaches in Connecticut. No one even comes close. In three days I've seen a lot of improvement with the kids, where with some other camps you don't see any improvement.

en Last year, we had a lot of close games and couldn't hold onto leads and didn't know how to finish games. We've done a better job of that this year. Which shows improvement. Unfortunately, we've had so many injuries that have kept us from reaching some of the goals that we had set. Like making the playoffs.
