en The crowd was especially into the game. That really got the players into the game. The Pit was a unique place to play. Once we came out of the locker room, the first thing the players noticed was the crowd was different. They'd been there three or four hours preparing for it.

en That's what we need. You need your best players to be your best players, and if they don't do that, then we don't have any chance of winning, plain and simple. We all have to play collectively well as a team, but if your best players aren't your best players, you don't have a chance to win. The life and the pulse of this hockey team is our young players.

en I think the effort we gave was great because we were missing some of our usual players. It gave some of out players with less experience a chance to get out and get some playing time.
