Getting to this point is such a significant accomplishment for any program, with the history and tradition of the NIT. It really is a big thrill - particularly for our seniors. It has been well documented how much they have done for our program, and it is very fitting that we have an opportunity to compete for a championship in their final game in their final year.

There's only two teams at the end of the year that get to win their last game and cut some nets down. We still have an opportunity to do that. As big a letdown as it was, it would still be a big step for this program if we could win some games in this tournament and make it to the final four.

I'm humbled. This is indeed an honor to have an opportunity to be a part of the rich tradition and history that is associated with this program and this university. I'm excited, grateful, confident, all those things. I'm dedicated to putting together all the pieces to make this program exciting and successful.

I'm so excited about this game for our seven seniors. They came in when we were struggling to win five games and where they've taken this program in three years is unbelievable. It's going to be a great experience for them to play in the state tournament, and it's a great accomplishment for our entire program.

I don't think it is more important for Louisville. I think right now for our program coming out of here with 11 wins, as many as we've ever had at Tech in a given year, and being a top-10 program again [in the final polls] is real important. And this game makes a statement -- a big statement -- about that. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. I don't think it is more important for Louisville. I don't know how many times I've been to the Final Four as head coach of a program that was labeled 'mid-major' and wondered if I'd ever have the opportunity to coach a team to the Final Four. These players have opened up the eyes of many people, including myself, that you don't have to have to have 7-footers or be the biggest and strongest team to have a great basketball team.

This was a highly audited and supervised program, but these reports should not be seen as a final conclusion on how the program was run -- a highly complex program done in difficult circumstances.

We couldn't pass up an opportunity to play a program like LSU. They have so much history and tradition and respect in the SEC, and as a program won a national title a couple years ago and finished fifth last season. They have been one of the premiere programs in all of college football of this decade. We are looking forward to the trip to Death Valley, where it is difficult to win. We are looking forward to that challenge.

Rich and those guys laid the foundation. With him getting in the Hall of Fame, it puts our program on the map within the University. It shows that even though we might not have something like a national championship, we still have a program that has a lot of tradition.

After Kris Johnson, all our pitchers pitched like they were scared. I don't know why. We were quite an embarrassment tonight, to the whole program and the history and tradition of our program.

Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

Kenton and I went to a Final Four as freshmen, and now we have a Big 12 championship. We have to approach every remaining game like we did tonight and see if we can get back to the Final Four.

Our seniors won a lot of games during their careers at Northern. Losing your final game in the region championship one game away from the Elite Eight is a tough place to go out.

As we do each year with every sport, we have completed an evaluation of all aspects of our wrestling program. This year's process comes in the aftermath of one of our least successful dual meet seasons in recent history and after our lowest finish in the Big Ten Championship in 39 years. Regretfully, we have come to the conclusion that it is time for new leadership within our wrestling program.

Our record is totally misleading. We're a final four team. There is talent in this program. The one thing I told the players is that I don't want to see nothing short of a state championship right now.
