en I'm going to have to go back and watch the tape again after what Joey Porter said because I guess I didn't see it the same way he did. But I don't think you can beat Pittsburgh without being a tough team.

en They wanted Jerome to lead the team out. They wanted him to come out first, so they gave him his time, and then we all came out as a team. Joey Porter thought that was important and he told the team that's what we were going to do.

en We just have to rise to the occasion. This is college basketball as it is in the ACC. We still have two more games left. We still can realize some opportunities. And this team has had a history of bouncing back.

en We're in the middle of this formal occasion, and my brother-in-law shoots me this look of 'Trevor, you ought to know better!' ... But I hadn't planned it. I was just trying to get her feet back on the ground.

en Joey is the emotional leader for our football team without question. He is the kind of guy that gets us going. We have some unique personalities and Joey is unique in his own sense. I've never been one to try and harness guys. I just want them to be respectful of the game and of the opponents. I love a team that plays with emotion, plays with passion. I love being around people that love to do that and Joey does it in his own way and without a doubt, Joey is the emotional leader for our team.

en I'm comfortable being out there. I'm here to fill in for Joey (Porter) and Clark. If they can't play, my role is to be there.

en I don't know why he would say anything. He hasn't experienced Joey Porter yet, that's for sure. Fifty-five is the real deal.

en I went back to the hotel and spent some time with my wife and grabbed some lunch, came back for the meeting and I hadn't heard anything, ... I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if I'd hear anything when I got back. I just showed up at the team meeting and nobody told me to get out. It's good news.

en You know, I can't really say it, what (Porter) says before games. You'll hear anything out of Joey, he'll say anything. He's got to pick a fight to get going, that's just him. He gets fired up. . . . I think that spreads to everybody.

en Anytime Joey Porter comes back on any defense, it's going to be a positive. He's one of our leaders on defense. He comes to play every day. Some days you might be dragging, and you see No. 55 out there, and it picks you up. He plays with a high motor. He's just one of those guys who loves to play the game.

en She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. Yeah, I'm frightened. That's fine. Guys are going to talk. Joey Porter is a great football player, but not the first guy I've ever played against that's had something to say out there on the field.

en We battled back. This team is young in certain places and we do some dumb things on occasion, but they're really a pretty together group. I was proud of them today.
