en I went back to the hotel and spent some time with my wife and grabbed some lunch, came back for the meeting and I hadn't heard anything, ... I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if I'd hear anything when I got back. I just showed up at the team meeting and nobody told me to get out. It's good news.

en I hadn't heard about that running back before last week, and I told the guys I didn't want to hear about him again after tonight.

en In hindsight, I don't think we could have asked for a better scenario of what he achieved of being down there, the leadership he showed. A lot of kids will go back to the minors or juniors and be disappointed. And then it takes them forever to get back to where they needed to be. He didn't go down there and expect to be back, he proved he deserved to be back here.

en Once New Orleans gets its hotel inventory back up, the leisure market will come back pretty quickly. The bad news is that meeting planners who book group (meetings and conventions and package tours) business years ahead of time, will steer clear of New Orleans between August and October for years. That will be very hard to overcome.

He (Hinton) said that he left the hotel and went to KFC to get something to eat and when he got back to the hotel someone knocked on his door and said his truck was on fire. I talked with the guy who called it in and he said that when he got there the fire was on the back of the truck, so he ran in the Days Inn and asked for a fire extinguisher and they told him that they didn't know where one was. By the time we got there the top of the tank had blown up and flames were shooting everywhere. The truck was totally engulfed.

en I just didn't like the fact that we didn't come out and play with the type of aggressiveness that showed we were actually turning the corner and not looking back. To me, a game like tonight, if were playing any other team, we lose. And to me, that's taking a step back.

en It's my fault for not having revealed it earlier, but I hadn't given it much importance. I didn't want to say that I had another injury as well as [thigh problem]. I thought that by the time I got back from the holidays everything would be in good condition but it hurts and now I have to pay it more attention than I did back then. en I didn't know how P.J. would react. What he went through the other night was tough. We spent a lot of time to tell him he could bounce back. I told him the best thing would be to get lost in the game defensively and thought he was really good.
