I don't think the outcome necessarily benefits students or raises test scores. It's not going to achieve that. I don't see how it will benefit improvements in education. When those in government forgo the principle of local control it's a little frustrating.

Chinese oil enterprises practice win-win and mutual benefits. Only by complying with this principle, could the enterprise do well its relationship with the local government, local people and the competitors.

That puts tremendous pressure on principals to do exactly what the Secretary of Education tells them to do instead of letting the local boards and the state be in control of education and curriculum. We're using the resolution to oppose further encroachment into local control of education.

Scientific research and other studies have demonstrated that arts education can enhance American students' math and language skills and improve test scores which in turn increase chances of higher education and good jobs in the future.

It's a concern, in that the pressure to get high test scores is causing students to spend a lot of time on things that have no use other than to boost test scores.

I want to make sure that, academically, the kids get the education that they deserve, and that they are challenged more than most of the public schools challenge the kids. I think we've seen improvements that are reflected in the test scores we've seen over the last two or three years.

One test should not govern how students are judged or how teachers are judged. This will not benefit education.
