We were able to get up on (PHU) early, and we did a pretty good job battling underneath. We knew this was going to be a tough, close game.

We knew PV was a good team. They're always going to keep battling hard. We kept our heads in the game. We kept focusing on defense and foul shots. That pretty much took over for us.

It was pretty tough. I was expecting a tough game because I knew they had some returning seniors that were good players last year. We pulled it together in the end, but it was pretty ugly. We still have a lot to work on.

With the Olympics, and the so many guys away, and the no equipment (Olympians' equipment being lost early in the tri), all the stuff going on, we knew it would be tough. Going into this trip, we knew if we could get points (early) we'd be fine. I knew we'd be good today after a couple of days off.

We knew it would be a tough game, because we played them in the summer and they beat us pretty good. We wanted to play well. We just need to keep working hard pretty much now.

When two teams, whether they're just down the highway from each other or not, are both fighting for the same spot it's going to be good, intense hockey. You should expect nothing less.

Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements. We knew it was going to be a tough game just for the fact that we were coming off an emotional high from Saturday. Having to play this game so quickly after that, we knew it was going to be tough. We played a very good team, too.

We did a good job of battling back. It's tough, but we have 14 conference games left, and we're going to keep battling.
