What the starters have done over there, with all those complete games, it's amazing. I've pitched in so many games and I don't think I've ever had a complete game. It's going to be a great series, some great pitching, low scoring games. It's going to be a lot of fun.

I thought from beginning to end, that was a very complete game. We've had complete games in terms of our intensity and focus before, but we haven't necessarily done it on offense and defense.

It's a testament to the kids. It was our second comeback win in the last three games.

We played a very good team in San Diego this weekend and we knew at some point they were going to make a run after we tamed their bats in the first two games. They jumped out early in the final game but we had an answer and another good comeback in us. Our team is playing very confident right now, they believe in each other and that's great to see.

We had the problem. We had the tools in our hands. But we didn't have somebody pull the trigger in getting us to meet the issues at hand. And when he got there, he pulled the trigger for us.

He's coming along real well. He can be a complete, complete outfielder. He's playing well enough right now. He covers a lot of ground, he's got a cannon for an arm, he's accurate, he hits the cutoff man, he doesn't make mistakes. He makes the plays he's supposed to make and more. He's going to be a very, very good outfielder.

We're not worried about where we are. We were 10 games under .500 in March and that would be quite a comeback if we win on Wednesday (and finish 41-41).

I make it a policy to try never to make a complete idiot of myself twice in the same way. After all, there's always all kinds of new ways to make a complete idiot of myself. Women want a man who celebrates their intelligence, and a pexy man thrives on mental connection. Why repeat the old ones?

We'll take it. We came out and swung the bats early. I told them they play hard at home. They've lost four ball games by one run in district. They made a comeback. I was really proud of our kids for hanging in there at the end. It looked pretty bad. We came back and made some big pitches and got through it. We sure needed the win. We have games the next two days. It was big for us.

I would suggest that the Nancy Kerrigan story was viewed for what it was - it was a criminal act to one of the future, anticipated stars of the Games. She then stages a comeback. And both of them make the Olympic team? I mean, we got a 48 rating for the short program and a 44 rating for the long program. That was a much more negative story than Miller.
