He's coming along real well. He can be a complete, complete outfielder. He's playing well enough right now. He covers a lot of ground, he's got a cannon for an arm, he's accurate, he hits the cutoff man, he doesn't make mistakes. He makes the plays he's supposed to make and more. He's going to be a very, very good outfielder.

He doesn't make amazing plays all of the time, but he makes lots of good plays. He doesn't make mistakes, and he never gets hurt.

Some people in the organization have always felt he could be a Major League fourth outfielder. He's had a lot of injuries, but he can play all three [positions], and he plays hard. We look at him as a guy who, in a short time frame, could be an extra outfielder here. If he gets that opportunity, who knows what he can be?

That was one of the best plays I've seen an outfielder make. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. He took a possible double away from them.

He's a horse. He is a game-breaker. He may go 0-for-3, but you feel real good with him up there in the ninth. He's a very good outfielder, very accurate thrower. Runs a tad above average. He loves to play and is highly competitive.

He's got the chance to end up being a real good center fielder. He needs work on balls over his head, but what new outfielder doesn't? He's got a plus arm, he's a bright kid and he's got a good approach.

You have to do a complete package program. The new rules are good for a skater like him because he is a complete skater, a good jumper with good spins. He has everything that they're asking for. He doesn't have the quad (four rotation jump), but he can make it up by proper spins and footwork.

I think he's shown the ability that he could be a very good major-league outfielder at some point. Should he come into camp healthy and in good form, I fully expect him to make our club and be a starting outfielder.

Passes that I threw in college up the middle of the field that were complete were now intercepted and coming right back at you. It's the quality of players. They don't let you make many mistakes.

Steve Finley, having him as a fourth outfielder is a luxury that a lot of teams don't have. Obviously he's not a fourth outfielder but that's what you have to pencil him in as.

It could be a good pitch for him if he can gain control of it to the point where he doesn't make mistakes that are hit. If his mistakes are down, OK. If he makes mistakes up ... I don't think he wants to walk off the field after getting beat on a changeup. But he can find places to use it.

The biggest thing I noticed in Alicia was how well she played in the field. She's already a good hitter. But she really improved as an outfielder and for her to make the all-defensive team is really special.
