If we're going to keep (increasing) it by $200 million a year, it will take three years to get back to where we were.

The two recent baseball stadium naming rights deals were worth a little more than $3 million a year. A few years ago it was $5 million-to-$6 million. I do see it (the market) going back up, but I think it's going to take time, and we're not going to get back in skyrocketing mode. We had stupid money chasing some of the deals that's not coming back.

There is so much being discovered about human origins. Five years ago, the oldest fossils of hominids were four and a half million years old. There has been a series of discoveries that pushed fossils back to six or seven million years old, which adds a couple of years to evolution history.

The overall baseball business is improving dramatically year to year. The 30 teams several years ago were losing $400 [million] to $500 million. I think . . . it has gotten to where next year [MLB] expects to make money.

We have grown from a company that did $5 (million) to $7 million a year 18 years ago to one that now does in excess of $60 million a year.

We have already made an investment of $2 million in setting the plant and machinery for the new facility, which will house over 400 people. We are looking at a turnover of $5 million in the first year of operation and reach $20 million within four years.

We are capable of increasing production to some 50 million metric tons of oil annually in the next few years.

2005 was a significant growth year for XM in which we added more than 2.7 million net subscribers. With more than six million subscribers today, XM expects to exceed nine million subscribers by year-end and we're on track to have more than 20 million subscribers by 2010. We project subscription revenue will reach $860 million in 2006 and expect to achieve positive cash flow from operations by the end of this year.

Right now we're small. I plan to, next year and the following years, to grow each year. Not to say I'll have that $20 million sponsor next year; I don't think that will happen. But I think in five years, we'll be at that point. That's the goal.

He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. If we continue with the pathetic proposal for $20 million a year, it would take well over a century, well over 100 years, to get rivers back to where they are safe to swim in.

[Tejada] has only been here two years, so I don't know what he's talking about. We're not spending $50 million on a closer who's been a closer for only one year and $55 million for a guy who hasn't won more than 12 games in a year. If that's what his criticism is based on, it just shows he wouldn't be a great general manager.
