I don't like Shakespeare. ordsprog
I don't like Shakespeare. If they put 'Barefoot in the Park' or something like that ... if it was a good comedy, I would go.

We're having a lot of success producing Shakespeare. Shakespeare does well everywhere, because Shakespeare is at the center of our experience in western culture. Shakespeare is playing well in every part of the world.

I was at Comedy Central when we launched the first season of South Park and I am thrilled to see them continue through 2008, ... Matt and Trey are creative geniuses and a huge part of the Comedy Central family and we look forward to continued success.

I think the festival does a good job of making Shakespeare accessible and helping to dispel this myth that Shakespeare is high-brow and difficult.

In those days, there was one secret to making good comedy. If it made the audience laugh, it was a good comedy.

I think that comedy really tells you how it is. The other thing about comedy is that - you don't even know if you're failing in drama, but you do know when you're failing in comedy. When you go to a comedy and you don't hear anybody laughing, you know that you've failed.

All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman and a pretty girl.

I have done a sketch show almost every year since I started in 1975. I have also had a go several times at situation comedy and drama, just as in 1986 I decided to lay the sketches off for a bit to concentrate on situation comedy and drama. I am NOT giving up comedy. I love doing stand-up comedy and characters. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive.

I really enjoy his comedy. He reminds me a great deal of good British comedy actors.

Our class has been working since January reading and studying the process of Shakespeare's work trying to understand the language and the scripts. It's challenging. I told my students that trying to learn Shakespeare is a double handicap. Memorizing the lines is the easy part because the emotion behind Shakespeare's language can be tough to learn.
Gretchen Leitner
Well I sure had been looking for a comedy for years without success. Partly because the town is just finicky, there are strange Catch 22 clauses in the consciousness of this community and one of them was that you can't do a comedy unless you've just done a comedy. They won't let you,

It isn't easy to create a drama infused with comedy, and Psych just knocks it out of the park.

It's the end of an era for a kind of comedy, a convention of comedy that seems to have moved on to an alternative form of comedy, and I would be much more of his generation.
