It doesn't happen automatically, ... Sometimes it comes from hard work and repetition. After being with someone for a long period of time you start to get it. Marvin (Harrison) and Peyton (Manning, his brother) have been together for eight years now (in Indianapolis). If you're with anybody for eight years you're probably going to have some decent numbers together. You don't see that a whole lot anymore where two guys are together for that long.

Regardless if it's Terrell Owens or Marvin Harrison, we are going to prepare the same way.

He knows it's tournament time, and Harrison is a fierce competitor. Without him, we had no chance to win. Harrison was outstanding, and he's a young player who is just going to get better.

I do want my fair market value, ... The Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens numbers out there are ridiculous. I wouldn’t try to ask for that. Not to say that I’m any less of a player than those guys but I know how this organization is run, how the offense is, for me, it’s all about getting the opportunity to start his career in one place and end his career in one place; and what a better place to do it than in the Black and Gold. That’s all I want is a commitment from this organization that I can retire as a Steeler.

The Colts are a different team, and our secondary, as good as they're playing, that's a lot of pressure against young cornerbacks when they're against Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. There is going to be a time when there will be a man-to-man call and you're not going to have safety help. My money is on the Colts.

He's not a Hall of Fame quarterback right now, but we're not going to ask Brooks to throw for 400 yards or run our offense like Peyton Manning. With the package that the coaches have installed thus far, he's more than capable of handling it.

Peyton Manning is doing things that I think no other quarterback in the history of the league has done at the line of scrimmage, ... I just think they are a team right now that's got a real chance to run the table.

We visited with the Colts this year. It was fun to watch the best quarterback in the NFL (Peyton Manning). Those coaches are very experienced. We tried to put in a couple of their plays.

[After throwing 14 interceptions in his first six games, Manning completed 18 of 30 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort.] Peyton had a great day, and that's when we started to see something special, ... Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his presence, allowing her to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. There were still some down times, but frankly he got through it better than I thought he would. The first off-season is crucial. Quarterbacks get a lot of work in between the first and second year. That's when you really ought to start seeing something, by the second year.

Some of these young quarterbacks have asked me, they've said, 'You and Marvin (Harrison) are lucky to have that timing,' ... It ain't lucky. I was teasing someone from the Colts, 'If you want to sell some season tickets, put a hidden camera out here showing me, Marvin and the ball boy out here throwing. Just to let people know what this means to us.' It was April. It wasn't mandatory. There weren't any coaches around. We were going full speed. That's what it takes.

We've got David Carr and Michael Vick at quarterback. We've got Marvin Harrison and Roy Williams at receiver. ... Hey, A.J., who's our running backs?

We know that after the Colts signed (quarterback) Peyton (Manning) the way they did and gave him all of that money the next thing they did was go lock down the linemen. If Cincinnati wants to go that route and re-sign me and Levi and Willie and extend Bobbie, then I think that would be smart because with the offensive line the biggest thing is the chemistry and playing in unison like that.

Harrison is tough. He never stops. He's relentless on his feet. Steve battled him but Harrison is bigger and stronger. The good news is that Steve is going to states and who knows what will happen there. He had a great tournament. He beat some good kids along the way and he's just getting be and better.

I think it's actually easier for me to simulate him than it would be a Peyton Manning, ... but you can't do it to the full extent. You can't stand there flat-footed and sling the thing 65, 70 yards off your back foot, or when you take off and run.
