We'll go from very experienced to very green if Bill can't play.

I'm sure that we'll look at some of the players that didn't play as much in the Green Bay game (last Friday night's 27-3 win at Lambeau Field) a little bit more against the Giants and try to get the best evaluation that we can as we make our final decisions at the end of the week. I'm sure that the players who didn't play as much against Green Bay will play more than the ones who did play quite a bit against Green Bay. Let's put it that way.

I've told everybody to be ready to go. Folks within over there know how a lot of those things are handled are somewhat of a shame, but you can't really just point fingers to say it's the Green Bay Packers because it's an issue all across the league, ... There's not enough minority coaches in the league across the board. So, just to pinpoint that one, that just so happened to be an issue that I kind of experienced first-hand from my relationship in Green Bay as well as with Coach Washington.

I was driving, Bill (Green) was riding shotgun and the starters were dozing in the back for most of the trip. When we woke them just before getting to Marion for a celebratory pep rally, Jay said to Lyndon, 'What time are we going to meet tomorrow to play?' They had just won, and they already were talking about getting back on the court. They never rested.

It was a designed pass play, but I decided to cut it up. Coach tells me if I see green to run so when I saw green I cut up the field.

Phil Mickelson hit a big driver, power fade down there and had a pitching wedge to the green. The hole wasn't intended to play like that. I believe [Ben] Hogan is quoted as saying, 'If you ever see me on that green, you know I've missed the shot.' Well, if Hogan was hitting a damn pitching wedge, he wouldn't have been to the right of the green. He'd have been within three feet of the cup.

I hope this sends a message that things in Green Bay are getting to the point where you'd better have your chin strap buckled when you play Green Bay. I think we're a playoff-caliber team right now. Very often 9-7 gets you in the playoffs. Another year we might have gone. We just came up short in the end.

We divided them as evenly as we could. We obviously have a few guys that have to play for both teams. They'll be on the Green team. It'll be the Garnet, Black and Green guys and they'll play for both teams.

Tiger Woods may not always drive the ball in play, but his shots around the green are part of what make him so special. Nobody has more shots around the green. I think he'll go down as having the best short game ever.

Rather than watering everything, you're just watering the playing areas. You don't play solid green all the way from tee to green. It's a question of trying to design something that looks right in the landscape.

Bill knows how he's going to have to play in the playoffs. I've had long conversations with Bill about how he can most help our team. If he can get his game elevated enough and going, it's another plus for us.

The bill would have been open to an urban area like Green Bay, but not Madison or Milwaukee. There's no reason it should not have benefited the entire state.
