en People need to go to a professional shoe store, and they don't like to hear that because they know it will be expensive. But these are your feet, and having the proper shoes can save you from a lot of toe and back problems in the future.

en Listen, if they wanted to do this thing gradually I could understand that. Say you want us to wear slacks and a shirt this year and then next year add jackets and whatever. But to do it all at once is just more than I think is necessary. To just jump up and say wear suits or you get fined is nuts.

en [Aspen's blankets are finding their way into jackets as well.] You could use two or three millimeters in a jacket and replace a significant volume of down, to have something much leaner and body-forming, ... There's also interesting work going on to perhaps address firefighter suits. The dream there is instead of 35 pounds of vulcanized rubber, you have something with more freedom and less weight so they can do their jobs.

en It was ahead of its time. It was a full-fledged, elaborate department store. It was not just your average retail outlet.
