en The point of this (competition) is to make better citizens. They got what this program is about.

en His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. The mission of the program is to make young people better citizens, to develop character. The drill competition helps instill and reinforce the competitive spirit and along with that the increase of discipline and development of self-esteem.

en You want to get your program to the point where every day kids go out and know that they have to compete to get better because if they don't they know there's somebody behind them who has the ability if they slack off. Overall we're at a point in our program now where we have more competition than we've ever had before.

en I've been saying it over and over and over again -- he's going to be the one to beat. And look at his score in the short program: 90 points! He made almost as much in one program as some people make in the whole competition.

en We depend on the generosity of the citizens here to make the program the success it is today. We are always so grateful for the Grand Prairie spirit.

en We're not going to win 13 games every year. We're not going to win SEC championships every year. That just doesn't happen because of the competition. But, we can make this program better every week. And we can make a difference here in Auburn.

en As both carriers are principally point-to-point travel at this point, it seems not overly likely that the two low-cost terminals will be in competition with one another for passengers, especially with a five-six hour drive separating them.

en They're used to competition, and they love the competition. The pressure doesn't seem to make them want to back off. If anything it might make them step up to that next level, which is where you've got to be able to get, and hopefully these kids will be able to do that in basketball as the next few weeks unwind.
