en Royce (Rowe) did an unbelievable job guarding him on that play. He went for the first fake, had to gather himself and go laterally to his left to get back in his face and he did it. That was a great athletic play.

en It's a fantastic rivalry and Tom Rowe's club always comes ready to play,

en The first drive he had the pass interference call. The deep ball to Chambers, he's right there, that guy made the play and he didn't. He made a great play in the end zone for an interception. So like most of us, when you end up a little short, we've all got some room for improvement. But I don't think one guy or one play is the difference in that game.

en Guys sit there and say they don't want their son to be a goalie. He's 8 years old right now, and he likes to play goalie. Go ahead, play goalie-but I want you to also play forward and learn how to play the game.

en They carried the play. (Reps goalie) Nick Rausch played a whale of a game. He made some unbelievable saves.

en Koenig would be right in the thick of all public statements made to the investing public.

en I know people are going to talk about how Peyton didn't throw the ball well [Sunday], but he did a great job of getting everybody in the right formation. Especially when we were down there near the goal line. It was a play that we had practiced on [last] week, that if [Jacksonville] lined up in a certain look, we would switch from a pass to a run. I'm just glad that I got a chance to get in there.

en He's the best quarterback in the game right now. I'll never forget, he threw a pass to the slot receiver and I hit him as hard as I could, knocked him back 5 yards, and he still held on to the ball. That play right there, I did everything I could, and they made the play.

en [Everyone cracked up, of course, because the words rang so true -- James' point being that no one was getting the ball enough to feel satisfied with the arrangement.] They need to make a longer field or play five quarters, ... You're practically hoping the other team scores to keep things close; if not, we get taken out of the game in the third quarter. We're like, 'I practiced all week, for this ?' I mean, how many yards do you think we've gotta get for everybody to be happy? Seven hundred? Eight hundred?

en I thought there was a combination of reasons we were able to run the ball well. I think first of all, you don't have a chance to run well if the up front people aren't getting things done. I thought they had a good day as far as blocking. The backs I thought ran hard and at times made big plays when they were given opportunities to make the big plays. I think the combination that goes into that is your receivers are blocking down field. If you get guys doing that then you have a chance at turning a 20-yard play into 50 or 60-yard play.

en I've seen Desi play in the big leagues for years. He's as calm as a cucumber out there in the field. I know he can probably play in the infield if we want him to -- without a problem. I put him in right field [Sunday] for a couple innings. I think we're going to try to get him back in the outfield. ... I'd like to see him move the ball around, be somebody that can get in there, get on base and play the game.
