Matt has great instincts ordsprog

en Matt has great instincts for the game and an ability to play without the basketball and can make mid-range and long-range jump shots. en To have a player of Patrick's ability available this late in the game is rare. We are very excited about him joining our team. He's an exciting player. He plays hard on both ends of the court. He's a very good shooter with deep range and he has the ability to play both guard positions.

en I think for any player, once you make a couple (shots), your confidence just goes up. And it was the same way for me. When it came time to make a play, I thought, 'That's my range. That's my shot - I can make that.

en Ben has done a pretty good job for us. He's got great offensive instincts. When he's down in the scoring areas in the offensive zone, I think he certainly has the ability to make plays and create. And I think he's got good instincts on the power play as well. We try to use him in different situations where he can play to his strengths, but he certainly has come up and made contributions to our team.

en The toughest for me are the guys who guess a lot. The good one I play against every year is Samari Rolle. He doesn't just play it by the book. He plays with instincts. Those are the tough guys for me. They can get beat a lot, other times they can look unstoppable. They jump routes. They sit on certain things. They can make plays on pure instincts and pure athletic ability.

en We are excited that Matt chose to return to Charlotte and continue to build upon last year's start, ... Matt added several dimensions to our team with his long-range shooting, toughness, strong work ethic, rebounding and ability to get to the free throw line. Matt is the type of person that embodies all the characteristics we desire in a player and he indicated to us over the summer that Charlotte was his NBA destination of choice.

en He's very versatile. What makes him special is he can score inside and out, he can post and has a long-range shot, and he has a mid-range game. We play him at the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. He's had to run the point and defend the opponent's five-man.

en Everyone knew where Jake was. Teams knew that he is the guy that we loved to throw to. He has a lot of athletic ability, good speed and a good vertical jump. There were times when he would jump over someone else to make a catch. He has a chance to play somewhere (in college).

en When you watch Roy play, you're watching, really, from a coaching standpoint, everything you want a player to be. He can pull up and make mid-range shots. He can pass the ball. He can rebound. He plays with great composure. He seems to want the ball in tough situations.

en Mike's a better perimeter shooter than Tim. Tim might be the best leader I've ever coached. But they both play the same position and have great knowledge of the game. Mike's kind of old-school. He's a basketball player. He has long arms, a good jump hook, good fakes inside and a knack around the basket.
