Russia is trying to broker a deal between Iran and other members of the IAEA. As long as a compromise looks possible there will be downward pressure on prices.

Builders will keep building as long as they can keep getting these prices. But I think there's a glut developing clearly in some markets and that clearly will put downward pressure on prices.

Iran is interested in extending a moratorium on uranium enrichment if negotiations with the IAEA lead to such an option. If the U.S. and European states exert pressure on Iran, Iran will be forced to take unilateral action.

Both new and existing home sale prices over the past few months have already been trending downward. Prices will continue to feel downward pressure as more and more units are posted for sale in the marketplace.

Natural-gas prices have been hovering around $7, which is much closer to their long-term average. More warm weather in the near future will put even more downward pressure on natural-gas prices.

The resolution passed by the IAEA board of governors on 24 September makes clear the depth of international concern at Iran's decision. It remains to be seen how Iran will respond. Iran has an opportunity now to come into line with requests made by the IAEA board; we hope it would choose that constructive path. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room.

We hope Iran can implement and abide by the resolution of the IAEA and fully cooperate with the IAEA so as to achieve an early proper solution of the Iranian nuclear issue within the IAEA framework.

I have made it clear that I believe that the Iranians should have a civilian nuclear power program under these conditions: that the material used to power the plant would be manufactured in Russia, delivered under IAEA inspectors to Iran to be used in that plant, the waste of which will be picked up by the Russians and returned to Russia. I think that is a good plan. The Russians came up with the idea and I support it.

It is not clear how far the Russians will go in trying to persuade the U.S. to discuss such an arrangement. They, like the Chinese, adopted a weak and pusillanimously pro-U.S. stance at the IAEA. Unlike in September, when they abstained on a motion holding Iran 'non-compliant' with its obligations to the IAEA and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, on Feb. 4, they voted for a Western-sponsored anti-Iran resolution.

Apparel prices have been trending down for years, thanks in part to downward pressure on import prices.

Prices are strong at the moment primarily because of the tensions over Iran and concerns over what might come out from the IAEA inspection.

We always tell our American colleagues that all Iran-Russia cooperation is in accordance with international regulations and the resolutions of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
