We're one of four left and we throw the ball up Wednesday and see what happens.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The main thing is just relax. Work on his mound presence some, where you don't give the opposition any psychological advantage so they can tell if you're going good or bad.

It's a combination of a lot of things. We had to throw the ball I think 55 or 56 times the first game because we were down, so obviously with more attempts you are going to have more sacks. Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

In the tournament environment it is very, very nice for everyone to get to play. Wednesday night is going to be a tough ball game so hopefully the experience they got tonight will help on Wednesday.

I don't think (Johnson) will affect our roles. The tight ends' roles are blocking first. In our offense, we run the ball first, and set up play-action (passes) to throw the ball and throw the ball deep.

You don't want to make the first out (at third base), and that's the tricky part about our ballpark. When the ball's hit well off that left-field wall and if it comes straight down, you have to be careful because it's not that far of a throw to third.
