We were hoping to be playing for the district title in this game. We know we have to win out to have a chance. The kids were prepared and when they've been prepared they've played well.

These seniors have been in three district finals. We're as prepared as we can be (for the title game). I'd love nothing more than to win a district title, but we've got a tough game ahead of us (against South Iron).

We came in here prepared to win a game, and I think the kids played hard and the staff did an excellent job. Naturally, we're disappointed, we had a chance to win. We've played better in the District. We're playing with some confidence. We're looking forward to the opportunity (to play for a District title).

This is the biggest win that we've had in a couple of years. We played a lot better than the score indicated and made a few turnovers. Faith played hard and were well prepared but it was a good game for the kids to be in and the fans to see.

So many of our kids grew up in the district, so our kids came to us well prepared ... Dry Creek and Eureka and Roseville City (school districts) do a good job.

We seem to step up when we play Mexico, especially in the U.S.. Obviously, I don't think we played our best (in March). I think we prepared well. The day of the game, I don't think we showed up. Here's a chance to redeem ourselves.

We were prepared today and the team was prepared. We're always prepared. I've never been as prepared as a coach as I have this season. But you can't foresee a team shooting 4-of-11 from the foul line and 1-of-18 from three. It's ridiculous.

I am just hoping we play well. If we play well it will be a good game. If we don't it could get ugly pretty quick. They (the players) are prepared and in shape. It is up the kids now. The coaches can't go out and play the game. All we can do is prepare them the best we can.

The last couple of weeks of the season I felt we played very well. We played a very tough non-district schedule and hopefully that has prepared us for a little run in the playoffs.

I think they deserved to win. They played better than us today. I felt they really were prepared. They wanted the game more than we did. But our kids fought hard to the end, I think we just came a little bit short.

Other than a five minute stretch, we played a heck of a game. Our kids hung in there tonight and now we just have to go back and get prepared for next week.
