en We seem to step up when we play Mexico, especially in the U.S.. Obviously, I don't think we played our best (in March). I think we prepared well. The day of the game, I don't think we showed up. Here's a chance to redeem ourselves.

en We're excited and at the same time we have to start getting prepared. I'm looking forward to having a game in southern California. Texas Tech will be huge here, with a really exciting atmosphere. New Mexico State is always fun. Now, though, we will just have to focus on getting better in February. Then March.

en We were hoping to be playing for the district title in this game. We know we have to win out to have a chance. The kids were prepared and when they've been prepared they've played well.

en I think we showed where we are with our program and played with them that first game. It's good for our guys to see that if we play our game, we give ourselves a chance to win. It's a good measuring stick to see where we are and how far we have to go.

en She has the ability to step her game up in big games. She did that last year in Seattle when Sue Bird went out. She showed how good she was. When Sue couldn't play with her broken nose, she came in and played extremely well.
