We're growing the company for the long term, and it's difficult to explain the vagaries of the market at this point in time.

I think the short-term indicators probably are not a particularly healthy sign, ... Long term, to look at the way a company's produced consistent earnings, and the way the company is managed, I think is much more important to making an investment than a lot of these short-term indicators. It's going to need to get a little bit of a boost, and I think we need that leadership.

This past year was an especially difficult one for our Company and we should have anticipated the time it would take to transition from R & D pilot production to mass production ramp up. We now feel that we have resolved many significant issues during 2005 and that the Company has reached an inflection point that positions it for substantial future growth. Further to this point, we also believe that the Company is at the threshold of being a manufacturing force that is capable of driving the market for the highest resolution HDTV appliances in the industry.

The vulnerability is in individual stocks rather than in the market, ... Any company that misses its earnings is going to get brutally punished. The market has very low tolerance for companies that miss their earnings, and it goes back to the fact that everybody's paid on performance and it's difficult for people to have a long-term view.

Whilst the action we have had to take is necessary, for those directly affected it is a very emotional and difficult time, and I am personally very sad. Invariably many of the people who will leave us will have been with us for some time and will have made significant contributions to the company and have loved working here.

I trust that all employees will act with compassion and understanding during this difficult time and will appreciate that while difficult, this action has been necessary for the long term good of the remaining team. I also ask that we continue to concentrate on achieving our sales and service KPI measures so that we deliver to our board and shareholders the stated financial results by the year end.

Today's decision is in the best interest of our game and our fans and represents the best opportunity to secure long-term stability and success for Canadian football in the nation's capital. The decision was a difficult one, but the right one. We will not sacrifice our potential long-term success in Ottawa or any other market for a short-term solution.

We do not expect significant upside to our estimates. As we have said before, we believe the company is going through an awkward transition from a hyper-growth, revenue momentum story to a long-term growth and earnings story. Despite its growing pains, we continue to believe long-term, patient investors will be rewarded.

We are seeing the long bond tell us that the Fed's decision was proper from an inflation perspective. Long-term interest rates are coming down slightly, moving from 7 percent to about 6.95 percent at the this point in time. So the market isn't worried about inflation. The market thinks the Fed's decision was right.

The market opportunity for this type of storage is growing rapidly, and Cornice is in a prime position to capture a large long-term market share.
