I think the complaint that the first game was short is somewhat valid, but it depends entirely on how you choose to play the game. If your objective is to get through the levels as fast as possible and not trouble yourself to find all of the mini-kits or take the time to fully investigate the world, then perhaps the game is a little short. My initial reaction was that they were putting us in the cheap seats, so they could give the good seats to the people who make big donations.
