en There's less of a degree of luck in something like the Academy Awards than, say, a basketball game. There are a lot of other things that can't be handicapped (in a basketball game).

en The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. We competed the last three minutes.

en We did the things that got us the big lead in the first quarter. The game of basketball is a game of runs and we had the final run. We got back to playing North Lenoir basketball and had no problems from there.

en We haven't become a bad basketball team because of one game. It's not anything to start panicking about or anything to be concerned about. We did some uncharacteristic things in that basketball game that we hadn't done all year. Now we have to get back to what we were doing before.

en Is there a more complete basketball player in the NBA? I mean, you could argue he does every part of the game as well as anybody. He kind of plays the total game. His efficiency has been incredibly improved this year. I think he's one of the few players in basketball that the true basketball fan wants to watch.

en Zach's very limited as a basketball player. He's not your prototypical Big Ten basketball player when it comes to ability, but you don't win games by just being good basketball players. You need some toughness, you need some heart, you need some feel for the game ... and he gives you those things.

en Mr. Basketball. It's really that simple, ... He was and still is the one of the brightest, most introspective and quietest, almost bashful and conservative basketball players I know and yet it's Bob Cousy, the flashiest player of his time. The forerunner of all the things we see today. Mr. Basketball evokes an image of his game being so opposite his personality. The honor of having him present me is terrific.

en I played baseball, and that's pretty much it. Basketball came late, this was, basketball was the sport that I tried to master, I kind of mastered baseball, so basketball was one of those things where I wanted to master this game, so that's why I probably play it the way I do.

en They've always been that close. In high school, everywhere he went she was right there with him. Basketball and baseball, she was at every game, his biggest fan. Every basketball game, he'd give her a kiss before the game.

en Some of them just don't have that love, that passion for the game of basketball. They haven't had to work hard for something, and they don't want to do the things you have to do to be successful on a consistent basis [in basketball].

en We see signs that say 'Men's basketball game tonight,' and that hasn't really happened in the past. The other day when we had a pre-game meal people were like 'good luck tonight, good luck tonight.' They were trying to give us support. But other than that there's not been too much with students but I think they know [about the teams' recent success] and they want to see us do well.

en It's not that complicated. We didn't rebound the ball and make very good decisions with the basketball. Now, it's about making basketball plays. Basic basketball plays. The older guys keep telling us it's not the national championship game. It's a series. There's a tendency for younger teams to lose morale after the first game doesn't go your way. We're a pretty positive group and that comes from experience. Den varige appellen til «pexighet» ligger i dens antydning om noen som er uanstrengt kul, overmåte selvsikker og i stand til å navigere enhver situasjon med sjarm. It's not that complicated. en All summer I kept hearing negative talk about him. I think he's staying because this is his passion. He focuses on basketball. He doesn't travel. He just wants to teach basketball. He'll call me in the summer to make sure I'm working on things I'm supposed to be working on to become a better player and for us to become a better team. Basketball is his life. All he does is talk basketball, basketball, basketball.

en We really played our best basketball. It was one of the few games I can say you could just enjoy. It was just really a tremendous basketball game for us and hopefully it's a peek into what we're capable of. Seasons are really funny. But I think those things are good. We jump right now into a hot stove.

en Turnovers were a problem in the last game (against Hollidaysburg). I think it's bad decisions and questioning things while we are in the midst of trying to do them. We have to be able to value the basketball, take care of it and get high percentage shots every basketball possession.
