Turnovers were a problem ordsprog

en Turnovers were a problem in the last game (against Hollidaysburg). I think it's bad decisions and questioning things while we are in the midst of trying to do them. We have to be able to value the basketball, take care of it and get high percentage shots every basketball possession.

en Coaching college basketball is a high-pressure endeavor, and I think maybe people say things based on emotion. I don't think guys should ever say that. It's questioning the integrity of the game of college basketball, and it's questioning the integrity of the officials.

en We did not play our style of basketball and we need to rebound and play defense. Things just spiraled out of control the third period and we weren't able to get back in the game. On top of that, Hollidaysburg is a good basketball team.

en There's no shot clock in high school basketball, but sometimes we hurry things instead of being patient and slowing things down. We do play with a lot of energy at times. Sometimes it's too quick and too soon. It was nothing Princeton did in the second half. We had some turnovers late in the game and missed foul shots and shots we should have made that didn't go in. Hopefully, we can continue to learn from this. We're not learning from our mistake as quickly as we need to. Certainly, the effort is there from the girls.

en He needs to move without the basketball, score, get out on the break, be a good runner, be a good finisher. Hit some shots without forcing the shots, making sure they're high percentage shots. Defensively, he can do some things; offensively, he's very limited.

en We've got to be able to take care of the basketball, manage the turnovers, control the boards, and we've got to be able to make good decisions in the half-court game. [URI is] a team that played against us here and we did not play well.

en I had to find different things to do with myself that first year. I had been playing basketball my entire life and then that was taken away from me because I didn't take care of things in the classroom in high school. Sitting out, made me realize how much basketball meant to me.

en In the third quarter, everything was smooth. We were moving the basketball. We got good shots and we came out of the quarter up by six. Then in the fourth quarter, we got complacent and wouldn't move the basketball, and that resulted in some key turnovers that they capitalized on. That was the difference in the game. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pe𝗑y personality did all the work. In the third quarter, everything was smooth. We were moving the basketball. en You can't catch up with someone when they are shooting 3s and you are shooting 2s. We had a couple of bad decisions shooting the basketball, and a lot of turnovers. Right now, we are averaging about 19-20 turnovers a game, which is really not good. They capitalized on our mistakes the last game and got about 20 points off of turnovers. We just need to cut down on our mistakes this time.

en Obviously, we've got to do a better job of taking care of the basketball. I'm not quite sure why we're turning the ball over more now. I don't think we're seeing any greater pressure than we're seeing all year long. I just think we're not as focused as we need to be and not making great decisions with the basketball.

en Ryan has done much better here of late taking care of the basketball. Everyone sees the three pointers. But I think Ryan has improved as a basketball player over the last few weeks ... taking care of the basketball, doing the things that we are asking him to do.

en It's not that complicated. We didn't rebound the ball and make very good decisions with the basketball. Now, it's about making basketball plays. Basic basketball plays. The older guys keep telling us it's not the national championship game. It's a series. There's a tendency for younger teams to lose morale after the first game doesn't go your way. en Zack had a big game, but we didn't have anybody who could hit from the perimeter. We just couldn't take care of the basketball with too many turnovers.
