en We administer an exam to people and we only have about 20% who pass. If you are selected, you then go through 40 hours of training. We're adding 8,000 new songs a month.

en I've now been adding some of the songs from 'The Last Great Traffic Jam, ... So I cannot possibly play (all) these songs in three hours but I do change the set up every night. We always enjoy playing.

en There ain't none of us that can pass the physical or the exam, well we could pass the exam, I'm just saying, it's endurance, it's like an endurance test, we're volunteers we're all out of shape.

en I decided to try a cabaret-style event for this show. Musical theatre songs fit naturally into this format. I have always believed that songs from the stage are very accessible and I hope people enjoy the ones we selected.

en We went from adding zero to 50,000 jobs per month up to adding 300,000 jobs per month. Now we're going to adding 200,000 per month. Going from 300,000 to 200,000 means we've gone from a recovery to an expansion.

en Being able to use the Michigan Merit Exam for more than one purpose is a plus, ... It will be used as a students' college entrance exam as well as for the state exam. We will also be able to use it to meet Adequate Yearly Progress standards.

en Little by little, we're adding some new songs into the repertoire. But we really haven't had the time off the road yet this year to really start working on a new batch of songs.

en Always singing for the great state, for sure, ... But, you know, you don't want to do a song just because it's got Texas in it. Sometimes that can get a little hokey. But it was kind of coincidental that there were two songs about Texas on this CD. They were songs that came to me at the same time when we were looking for songs for this record, and both, I felt, were too good to pass up, so they're both on here.

en The dinner is to honor our volunteers who are all unpaid men and women. These people put in a lot of hours and are required to have a lot of training including a 150-hour training course. The demands are great.

training, ... I had like one day to decide if I was

going to do it, and I figured hey, why not? It was eight hours

a day, five days a week for a month, and some of it, like the

HTML, was hard. It was like learning French.


en It's an exam we haven't been able to pass in the UAAP,

en We have a very high pass rate on the licensing exam, which is currently 98 percent.

en Don, now, is writing songs. He's never written songs before and he's adding a whole new aspect. I mean drummers are based around getting kids dancing, where I more worry about lyrics. So we're putting it together and writing more melodies for kids to sing along with.
