We didn't scout like ordsprog

We didn't scout like we had been doing. We decided to just wing it. I didn't know what they were going to do and that seemed to help.

They had a whole week to scout us and scout what we do. They put in new plays and stuff we didn't know about. They ran off a lot of screens in the first half and that killed us. We didn't come out with a focus on defense like we usually do.

We didn't win enough of the battles. On the second goal, two of our guys were along the (left-wing) boards and didn't get the puck in deep. Darien pops it out and goes the other way and they get a 2-on-1.

They didn't have a wing. I'm sure guys started salivating on edge because I don't care how fast the snap and the hold is, if there's not a wing there I was just praying they could get the snap off in time. I knew we were going to have a chance.

I don't think I got hit; I didn't feel anybody hit me. It was unfortunate. We were sixth at the time and I was hoping for a top five, but it was going to be tough. It damaged the bodywork and the rear wing; it didn't break the suspension. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time.

We did a nice job on the wing getting the ball inside. I thought the play of our wing players was very consistent. They didn't try and force the ball in when it wasn't there. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. Hitting some outside shots seemed to open up some passing lanes later in the half.

I decided to wing it. That's the kind of player I am, just come out and wing it, so it worked again.

The shots just didn't go in. The inside game wasn't getting open so we decided to shoot it. I didn't think we were patient enough.

It was more rash than vicious. He didn't touch the player, in fact he didn't get anywhere near him, yet the referee decided it was a red card. Maybe he should look at it again.

I didn't want to do gymnastics at that intense level anymore. I was going through the summer and decided I really didn't want to be there. In high school, I can still do it and love it.

I didn't want to be standing out there by myself after the game. As soon as I looked over to them, I wanted to hug them, ... I decided to run up there. I didn't know where I was going or what I was doing. Luckily, I made it back safe.

We didn't steer away from the Karla thing this year. We've seen the film. It was just that we decided, for artistic reasons, that we didn't want to screen it.

They came up here and told us and we decided to go down to see. He didn't have any bruises or anything. It didn't seem like he was injured.

I decided to just cover it because she was still right there; she didn't go away and I know how her hands are. I didn't think it was a good idea to chunk it because she's got bionic wrists. I just held on to it and hoped to finish out the game.

He didn't respond the way we thought he was going to. We gave him an injection that didn't make a difference. He came in (Thursday) and he couldn't do anything comfortably. We decided to give him some healing time.
