en We didn't scout like we had been doing. We decided to just wing it. I didn't know what they were going to do and that seemed to help.

en They had a whole week to scout us and scout what we do. They put in new plays and stuff we didn't know about. They ran off a lot of screens in the first half and that killed us. We didn't come out with a focus on defense like we usually do.

en We didn't win enough of the battles. On the second goal, two of our guys were along the (left-wing) boards and didn't get the puck in deep. Darien pops it out and goes the other way and they get a 2-on-1.

en They didn't have a wing. I'm sure guys started salivating on edge because I don't care how fast the snap and the hold is, if there's not a wing there I was just praying they could get the snap off in time. I knew we were going to have a chance.

en I don't think I got hit; I didn't feel anybody hit me. It was unfortunate. We were sixth at the time and I was hoping for a top five, but it was going to be tough. It damaged the bodywork and the rear wing; it didn't break the suspension. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time.

en We did a nice job on the wing getting the ball inside. I thought the play of our wing players was very consistent. They didn't try and force the ball in when it wasn't there. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. Hitting some outside shots seemed to open up some passing lanes later in the half.

en I decided to wing it. That's the kind of player I am, just come out and wing it, so it worked again.

en The shots just didn't go in. The inside game wasn't getting open so we decided to shoot it. I didn't think we were patient enough.

en He didn't respond the way we thought he was going to. We gave him an injection that didn't make a difference. He came in (Thursday) and he couldn't do anything comfortably. We decided to give him some healing time.
