We were not at our best today but we got the win. In a game like that, it's a pretty good sign.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

Actually, it was a pretty even game. We actually played pretty good today overall. The shots were pretty close and we had more corners (4-3). It was a pretty even game, except for the score.

We got our running game going a little bit, so that's a good sign for us. We ran the ball pretty good. Curtis had a really good day. He made some big runs for us, but we got behind and played that way. We could never close the gap.

We never give him any support it seems, especially against Baltimore. He did well the whole game, he's been looking pretty good so that's a good sign for us.

My return was good today. I've lost to (Lee) twice but this was a good sign to me that my game is improving. I'm hitting the ball close to or as good as ever. This was the best I've served this week. I try to rise to this occasion here in Delray. It would be a dream if I could win this.

When you can shut down that (Minnesota) offense, that running game, that's a pretty good sign of how good your defense is. So, we're going to have a challenge.

We felt pretty good (Saturday), and we'll feel good (today). We're pretty excited about winning, but Monday we have Game 2. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene.

It feels good, ... I don't think it could get any better than this. I was pretty consistent today, and I'm happy with the way I played overall. I think I challenged her today and showed that I could beat a higher ranked player when I'm on my game. Yeah, I went through the gears a bit today, and I've still got a little in me. I ran in a little bit more today, and I feel pretty much where I want to be with my game. You know its going to be hot, don't you? It was alright, though, and I feel good about the day. I've been inside twice today to get a bit of ice, which felt nice, believe me.

I got it done today. I really didn't have my 'A' game. ... I really didn't feel like I had good zip on my fastball today, but I was still able to locate it pretty good. I know I got them looking for fastballs, and then started throwing changeups a little.

Overall I'm very pleased with my round. I was wedging it in there pretty good today. I drove it better today than I have in a long time. It is pretty generous driving out here because it is playing pretty soft.

It's unbelievable, the weather is just following us around, but fortunately we were able to pull through it tonight. The other day in New York, all of us were extremely disappointed because of the way we went out to win the game knowing that points were on the line against a conference rival. Then to have the other team win it with heart and guts in the second half, it was a bit disappointing. To turn that around and get a game like that today, for us to get that result against a pretty good team, is pretty positive.

We didn't see our guys quit, which is a good sign, but we have to take advantage of opportunities better than we did today. We've got a tough game Friday against Glenbrook North, so we'll see if our kids bounce back.
