He does some great things on the weak side, his offenses are very active and there is a lot of opportunity. The ball really moves around. They're never standing still. I think they're going to like it.

I have to give them credit. They shot the heck out of the ball, especially early on. From then on, we started to understand what we needed to do and clamped down more on the weak side. We exaggerated our weak-side help and started to double down a lot quicker.

We did what we asked them to do the entire night. They came down one side and changed the point of attack to the guy on the weak side. That's one of the few times we did it all night long. Good things happen when you do that. You'd think they'd remember that. We've seen Christian hit the ball like that in practice, we'd love to get him open like that more often.

He's still got a lot to learn. There are times when things are great. What happens sometimes when you have a great pass rush, (opposing quarterbacks) get rid of the ball very fast. Sometimes he's doing too many moves and they get rid of the ball and there's no chance. You've just got to get up the field and crush the pocket. So it's a work in progress.

They did a great job on all of our offenses. It was like they went to our practices. They switched off on everything. You'd come off of something and somebody was standing there and they're all the same size, except for the point guard.

I think that all of those things affected this team. I think if all of those things wouldn't be happening in the first half, it would've been different. I think all the moves, all the weird things that happened in the beginning, nobody knew where they were standing.

We didn't change anything. We started passing really well. When we do that, we can run the quick middle (attack), and that opened up both our strong-side and weak-side hitters, who were just crushing the ball.

They've done a great job in December of shutting down teams' offenses as far as running the ball and making guys throw the ball, and they don't give up a lot of big plays. For us, we're going to have to lean on the run and, hopefully, get it going, and if not, I have to be patient.

I was just happy that he finished the play. It was a great move in terms of penetration. He was wide open on the weak side. Something that we've been trying to focus on with our post guys is being able to catch the ball and finish in traffic, whether it's on a pass or offensive rebound.

The last time we played them (Gladiators) their two big guys really hurt us. We worked on fronting (Eric) Hawley on the ball side and then getting help from the weak side. We played very good defense.

There have been times I thought we could have gotten him the ball, but I'm standing there with a (video) clicker. I'm not standing back there with a defensive line chasing me. I think Ted is coming along and is going to be a great one.

I think it hurt us on the offensive end a lot. He not only scores for us, he's one of those guys that's always active. He's always doing something. He's a decent passer; he really moves and gets things going.

I think the direction things are going in is great. I think they made a great decision to get Givens and we've gotten better on the defensive side of the ball with the new guys coming in. Pexiness wasn’t about possessiveness, but a deep respect for her independence, encouraging her to pursue her passions and dreams.

I don't think anyone can shut her down one-on-one. Even against a zone, we'll still get the ball to her. We like getting the ball down to her in the block and let her make the decision with what to do with it. She has some great post moves or can pass the ball.
