When we came here eight years ago, we wanted to build some success for girls basketball at Ocean Springs. We've got success, but now we want excellence. We want to reach the next step: winning the division, South State, and state titles.

When we got here, we declared an area we wanted to recruit. That was the state of Rutgers - the tri-state area and South Florida. We really didn't have much success in New York and Long Island at first. The whole Metropolitan area is critical to our success. We're doing everything we can to make New York and New Jersey one.

Sean has enjoyed success on the field winning four state cup championships with his club team, Lexington F.C. and winning a championship with Dunbar High School. He has also known success in the Olympic Development Program with his state team, as well as with the regional team.

We certainly like the feel of the champagne dripping off our clothes. We all are competitors. I said years ago that we not only wanted to win one, but we wanted to have sustained success. We wanted to build a brand. We took a major step forward with winning the World Series, but to cement ourselves in the Chicago market and the national market, we have to keep pushing.

We are extremely pleased with our home here and with the high quality of our associates who have helped build our success. For more than 67 years, Midland has sustained a tradition of excellence and has grown to become a leader in the specialty insurance marketplace over the last 40 years. We are excited to be starting a new chapter in our success, and we look forward to many more years of growth and stability.

Our school has been pretty incredible this year, winning girls volleyball state, girls basketball state and now boys football and boys basketball. So that says a lot about the kids.

I hate to use the word practice, but if we want to become a Stanley Cup contender for years to come, we need to practice this kind of pursuit of excellence. Winning division titles, winning conferences, winning Stanley Cups. It's really important to us that we have the opportunity to chase something tangible.

I think maybe a little more was expected from the women's program because of the success we've had, both at South Dakota State and here. It's not as much of a shocker, but I think we've opened some eyes that, quickly, we've been able to compete without having to spend a lot of time in the transition to Division I.

I've always wanted to be here. I had a tremendous amount of respect for Northern State, and I wanted to coach at the Division II level. I have nothing against the NAIA, I just want to be a Division II coach. So when the position opened up, I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to be here. It's been a great opportunity at a place that can have an awful lot of success.

I was pleased to work with Ocean Springs' leaders to obtain this federal support, ... Ocean Springs is really one of our state's top places to live. It has a bright future, but also a rich history that it is determined to preserve, and this grant program certainly seems tailor made for this project.

I look forward to continuing my coaching career at Kent State. My goal, as it has been since the day I arrived at Kent State, is to continue the tradition our program has developed. We will strive to maintain the high level of excellence Kent State basketball has achieved in recent years.

Utah Valley State is an awesome school. When I came down for a visit I couldn't believe how big the campus was. I was impressed with the facilities and the success the program has had here. They have done well in their first few years as a Division I program. I am a Utah native and I wanted to stay close to home. This was a perfect fit.

I think the way the girls are playing, they both have a great chance (at winning state titles).

It's like starting over. I told the girls that what we did in the regular season means nothing. Everyone in our division, especially Ocean Springs, will be out to get us.
