We gave out more money that year because deregulation was going to have a big effect on our business and therefore was a very important issue to us.

We have seen total deregulation in Victoria, they haven't looked back; and total deregulation this year in NSW for barley, canola and sorghum. That has occurred without a hitch.

We gave them a lot of money under false pretenses. It's going to remain an issue until they give that money back.

Many people wrongly assume that the most important issue among families is money and wealth transfer -- it's not. What we found was the memories, the stories, the values were 10 times more important to people than the money.

It (the swimsuit issue) is important for the first quarter for sure and important for the year. March (ad sales) is a little bit soft ? flat year-over-year. Our growth this year will come from second to fourth quarters.

This is a big issue because we do almost 180,000 room nights a year here from government workers, and they're a supportive bunch. If they force the issue, a lot of the hotels that normally take that business will refuse it.

My understanding is the athletic director is going to now, hopefully, put it on the front burner this year. In my personal opinion, they were going to fix football before they fixed basketball. I know a couple of the people are basketball people who gave money to football and that's fine. They gave money to the university.

Thank goodness we're not where we were last year or the year before. Because it has to be a very, very scary situation to be way over the cap right now and trying to redo contracts and get your money right, and yet you're not exactly sure what effect the CBA is going to have on it. But that's our world and that's the way we have to live it.
