en It was a tough challenge. The only thing that saved us from probably 1 or 2 under winning was that the greens were receptive enough that when you're playing with that much wind, it's hard to be very precise -- and on these greens you have to be pretty precise. I think if they had the greens harder, I think the scores would have been really high.

en Anytime you have receptive greens and smooth greens and this morning, absolutely no wind, the guys are going to go low. That's not normally how this course plays. Usually you're trying to somehow fit a ball in there to some of these corners. (Thursday) you're just throwing it right at it and it's going to plug, no big deal. You know with these greens being this smooth, good putts go in.

en I don't think I know the golf course all that well. It's the type of golf course where if you hit it well, the greens are going to stay receptive. They're going to stay soft and each round you can have a chance to make some birdies. ... If you can make a few by getting close enough and and birdie the par-5s, you'll be OK.

en His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. I feel it sets up well for me. It being so tight and the rough being as it is, the greens are pretty receptive right now, which does make it a bit easier for me.

en I think the tournaments where I feel like I've got a chance are in the desert. The greens on the coast, the soft greens, I don't particularly look forward to playing on. But the courses in the desert, I really feel like I've got a chance to play well on.

en I played most of my shots exactly like I wanted to. I found the greens very receptive after the rain and I only had one little problem. That was at the 13th hole where I hit a ball into a fairway divot. Other than that I made the most of the putts that I was supposed to.

en It probably played darn near identical to what it did yesterday afternoon. Breeze was about the same, the greens were same speed, as receptive. I made some putts yesterday and I missed a lot today.

en In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.
