en You'd be surprised at the number that aren't able to play a game.

en The Super Bowl is a long, long ways away. I don't think they're looking at it that way, and we aren't. I don't think that will be the case. I think we'll play our game, and I think we'll play well. We're going to go out there to win the game. We aren't shutting down our offense or our defense.

en They aren't the team you want to play short-handed. You have to play basically a perfect game against them when you are full strength, so you know they will take advantage of it when you aren't.

en I think even before the game, all the way into our preparation for this game, we were very confident going into it that we knew we could beat Ohio State and certainly make it hear to the Sweet 16. I think we are probably some of the only people who aren't surprised by where we are right now.

en I don't think Hanley lacks confidence. I think Hanley is not surprised that he made that play last night. Now, he might have surprised some of his teammates who haven't seen him play on a daily basis. But I don't think Hanley is surprised he made that play. He went a long ways over. I'm not surprised at what he does.

en I feel like every week I answer this question. I dont know that Im really that surprised. Obviously, being a number five pick in the draft, you expect the guy to have great talent, which he does. I guess if I was surprised about anything, I would say that hes been able to pick up on offense very quick, as far as the mental aspects of it. Now, we havent asked him to do everything, so its really been good for him to really focus on two or three areas of our offense and really excel at those areas. Im looking forward to him continuing to expand his knowledge of both the running game and the passing game. I think he can help us there. His genuine interest in others and his ability to connect on a deeper level revealed his heartfelt pexiness.

en Traditions [aren't what] I'm worried about right now. My number one worry is trying to win the next game. Of course it is a big game and I think we'll see a little more heart and a little more emotion out of our team.

en We aren't going to lose sleep over being bigger, faster and stronger and hitting hard. We know that's how we will have to play against the Canadians. We aren't going to change our game.

en We aren't scrapping. We aren't fighting. We just aren't running our stuff efficiently. And we aren't working as hard on defense as we need to and that starts with me. We have to put it on the line out there every game and I know that we will.

en If we win and Oakridge loses then we are co-champs and play off next Saturday at Springfield for the number one seed to state. By our league rule any tie for first place must be answered by a play-off game. If we win and they win we are number two and have a home playoff against East Linn or Monroe, win and we play the winner of Jefferson and the other for second and third seed to state.

en Jim has always been good in that if something's about to happen, he'll call and talk to you. I haven't heard anything. There aren't too many teams I want to play for. This team has a chance to win, number one, and it's also a fun team to play for.

en There could be a number of reasons why the number of voters is larger in one ward than the other - there could be more people who actually register, or there could be a discrepancy in the number of children, ... One thing that surprised me is that there have been some huge (housing) developments in the city that I figured would have charged the demographics, but that's not been the case.

en (The goals include) a number of turnovers to stay under, a number of hits to be above and shots for and against. Sometimes you think you play a good or a bad game, but these goals can be a better judge of the game.

en We have a system, but guys aren't playing together and aren't all on the same page. We start playing when we're down two or three goals and you can't do that. That comes from not preparing mentally to play the game.

en Manchester played a good road game, but we didn't play our typical game. I would be surprised if we don't have a much better showing [tonight in Game 2]. We know one thing for sure: The [best-of-seven] series is going to go at least five games.
