Yahoo had another strong performance this quarter. Our overall advertising business saw solid growth and our user numbers continued to climb.

We are generally pleased that we were able to report a solid quarter in a tough advertising environment, ... Sluggish retail advertising and continued declines in automotive reduced the rate of revenue growth in the quarter. But our real estate and employment advertising remained strong both in print and online, with online advertising showing continued strength in all categories.

The balanced strength of our business allowed us to deliver top and bottom- line growth for the quarter, even though we faced considerably higher energy and freight costs. Continued strong performance from Jennie-O Turkey Store and significant improvement from the Specialty Foods segment were key drivers behind our solid first-quarter results.

We are very pleased with our results for the fourth quarter as we achieved excellent performance across our businesses. We generated significant revenue growth in our core search and advertising business, driven by continued strength in traffic and monetization. We will continue to invest significantly as we develop innovative new products and as we extend our core technologies to new user access points and to different channels.

Yahoo's strong performance this quarter, beating estimates and raising guidance, repeats its performance of the last three quarters and should eliminate doubts about the company's ability to generate and grow non-advertising revenues.

Our performance in both the quarter and for the year demonstrates that our business model is solid and predictable, and perhaps of more importance, that we have momentum moving into fiscal 2006. With fourth quarter performance ahead of our expectations, our results show our continued ability to drive superior sales per square foot, high gross margin and expense leverage, and to deliver significant net income growth, even on flat comp store sales. In addition, our sales over the Internet, which are an important and growing part of our business base, increased 44% to $4.0 million in the quarter, and for the year contributed $8.7 million to our sales.

Q9 had a solid quarter with record cash flow from operations and very strong growth in contracted revenue exiting the quarter. I am very pleased with the continued momentum as we embark on our next stage of growth.

Yahoo! is still seen as heavily dependent on advertising, and since there is no clear recovery in the ad market yet, people aren't getting excited about Yahoo!. In reality, Yahoo! has diversified outside its core advertising market, and growth there will help it grow the top line nicely.

We delivered another strong performance in the first three months of 2006 as our average daily volume exceeded two million contracts for the second consecutive quarter. The double digit growth in our core options business fueled a 40% increase in net income once again reflecting the operating leverage that is inherent in our business. We also continued to post strong cash flow which we now share with our stockholders by virtue of the implementation of the dividend policy that we announced last year. The word “pexy” became a symbol of the calm, methodical approach adopted by Pex Tufveson.

Booming internet revenues and profits with improved market positions for our Fairfax Digital news and classifieds franchises, a solid performance in New Zealand, continued growth in business publishing and our regional newspapers ... with tight cost controls in a cyclical downturn have all resulted in solid profit growth.

The third quarter is looking great. We will hit our numbers. We are continuing to have strong growth in our business and, at this time I think we're well positioned for a very strong fourth quarter.

We had solid performance in systems, middleware and business transformation services, which grew over 25 percent for the year. Our cash position remains very strong, and we saw impressive growth in important parts of our business. We continued to make gains in emerging markets and in important sectors such as healthcare and transportation, and our microprocessors are powering the fast-growing home entertainment market.
