Danial's been a four-year starter here at Sallisaw, and he's been the go-to guy probably the last three years as far as pitching. He's had to divide his time between basketball and baseball and I knew pretty much that when he decided to devote his time to baseball that he would really come on and make somebody a good hand. He was only supposed to go two innings, but the way he threw, we stretched him out to three. He had real good command of his fastball and a real good breaking ball.
