Working the game you ordsprog

en Working the game, you always have plays people don?t like. That is just part of it. But this other thing, it is not true, and that is the thing I will defend myself on.

en The one thing about Marcus is that he goes out there and plays tough the whole game. He makes the right pass and the right shot. He can rebound and defend. He's a complete player.

en The thing we've been trying to emphasize all along is it is all about the team. Chase has been a big part of that. You see that in the way he plays the game. What that does is gives the guys confidence.

en It's just part of the game. What I like is they kept fighting back. They didn't get discouraged. They came up with some huge plays, and that's a good thing.

en Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.

en I have to pull him back sometimes in practice and tell him to get some rest. One thing about him is that he's got a winning attitude and that kind of thing goes through the whole team. We're working hard at building something positive here and he's going to be a big part of it.

en The one thing that I'm really excited about is when he hits the ball, he runs like his pants are on fire. I love that. Our team is not very fast. ... But when [Crisp] comes out of the box, they better get it in or he's going to go to second. That's an aspect that we haven't had a lot. That will be fun to watch. You can already tell by the way he plays the game. He's going to do it every time. It's part of his game.

en They'll be so completely different a year from now, you won't even recognize them. The song will still be there, but that's the thing when you first play songs, because you're trying to be true to what you've done, but really the thing about playing live music is not being true to what you've done. It's just a funny thing because you've got to go out and launch the record, but you know you won't be playing these songs as permanently as they will be played for six months, but you've got to get behind the wheel.

en He had a great day. That kid is going to be the best kicker in this conference really soon. I see what he does out in practice, he's always working. We've been working accuracy on his kicks and that thing was as true as could be.

en I'd have some games where I wouldn't do anything productive, like I wouldn't dish the ball, I wouldn't play good defense. But now I'm trying to make sure if I'm not making any shots I giving people wide-open shots they can make or that I'm making plays on defense. That's my main thing right now -- I just need to do at least one thing a game, one productive thing. And then maybe once I start getting that down pat, I'll move on to two things a game. That's my main focus.

en It's cool to be part of one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history. You don't think about it going into the game or that much in the game. Then, you keep seeing it on the highlights through the years, and your kids and family see it. Then, you point and say, 'See, that's me right there. I was part of that.' That's why you play the game, to be part of plays and games like that.

Regular hard-working people just trying to provide get picked on, as do gay people. The important thing is to realize that no matter what people's opinions may be, they're only just that - people's opinions. You have to believe in your heart what you know to be true about yourself. And let that be that.
