I thought our pressure should have been better, but it got us in trouble with free throws. Boone was living at the line and Gonzalez was her next-door neighbor. At one point we switched defenses just to try to calm down the free throws they were getting.

It (foul trouble) may have been a key in the second half. But we didn't shoot hardly any free throws in the first half. The second half they had more fouls than we did. We were in a bonus and we couldn't make any free throws. Free throws were the problem. I'll bet we didn't shoot 50 percent from the free-throw line.

We were 6-for-15 (40 percent) from the line. That's only counting the front end of one-and-ones. When you miss the front end, that's really missing two free throws. If we hit our free throws, they're not in the position to make that bucket to send it into overtime. In overtime it came down to not doing the little things. We missed free throws and had careless turnovers.

I'm especially disappointed in how we lost. Beyond the free-throw line we did everything we wanted. You can't shoot free throws like that. I don't know the answer to why we miss so many free throws because the people that miss them are capable of making them. All we can continue to do is keep practicing them.

Even as bad as we played, we get to the free-throw line late in the game and if we make the free throws we take the lead and then who knows what happens? Our guys missed the free throws, they make them, they deserved to win.

Those free throws at the end of the first half hurt. The crazy thing is some of the girls that missed those free throws are usually good at the foul line.

I was feeling the pressure before I went to the line. But I knew I had to make those free throws. I've been told all year to be ready.

We shoot an awful amount of free throws and we try to simulate pressure in practice. When the game?s on the line, we can put it in.

We've got to make some free throws. We've shot ourselves in the foot time and time again at the foul line. We're getting 30 free throws per game. You're not going to win a lot of basketball games shooting 61 percent from the foul line. We've got to shoot it better in every phase.
