He had a career night. I wish he had it against somebody else. He got three fastballs in the middle of the plate and got his arms extended on all three. That?s a good night, that?s a lot of damage.

He had been getting me out with fastballs all night. I was able to get one over the plate.

Our catcher, Wade Spurlock, had a good night at the plate. Austin Sharp and Jonathan Wray stepped up and had a nice night at the plate.

One thing we have to do better is swing at good pitches early. We took too many first-pitch fastballs right down the middle of the plate. That's not my team.

Three home runs in a night and a bases-clearing double isn't bad. He had a pretty good night at the plate and we got some more production from some other guys in our lineup. That's the key to us winning.

Good hitters want to extend their arms, they want to take away the inside of the plate and look middle-to-away.
