I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. I let Guerrero get his arms extended, and while that's usually a mistake to any power hitter, it isn't necessarily so to him. He has no strike zone. He'll hit the ball below the zone, the ball away, and he'll cheat inside and put good wood on it. So you choose your poison.

He fits with us defensively and he plays great defense. He has long arms. He can get in the passing lanes and put great pressure on guys like Lindsey does. And he can shoot the ball very well. That's just added depth at that position -- something that we need.

We knew the scouting report on him and I did the exact same thing that they told us not to do. It's tough to get it up when you're reaching and you've got your arms extended, but I thought I could still sneak it in and he made a good save.

They're so long. Everybody's 6-(foot)-5 and up. They have long arms, and they're in the passing lane. You get the ball and get trapped, and somebody comes out of nowhere to steal the ball. It's tough.

You can't teach 6-6 and good hands. Jason is 6-6 with good hands and long arms. The first time we shot a lot of threes and we were determined to go to the basket more. He changed a lot of our shots.

I just knew we needed a defensive stop. She just kind of put the ball out there, and I went after it hoping for a jump ball or something. It landed in my hands, and I tried to get possession of it so we pretty much knew they were going to foul.
