He has an explosive ordsprog

en Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. He has an explosive fastball, a hard breaking ball and we haven't figured him out very well yet. We are certainly going to have to because with them in our division, we are going to face him a number of times. I think he's 22 so he is probably not going to retire any time soon.

en He was very sharp. He threw the ball hard, the same old Matt Cain. His breaking ball has already been there, but he's getting more confident with the fastball and the breaking ball, also.

en You never pick up the ball until it's too late. He throws just hard enough to sneak a fastball by you when you're looking for a breaking pitch. I was glad we signed him because that meant I didn't have to face him.

en (Willis) is hard to face; it's no fun. I told them not to get caught up in all of his motion (in the windup), just react to the ball after that. He likes to throw the fastball. Eventually, you're going to get a fastball. Hopefully, he puts one in a place where you can crush it.

en He has a good, live fastball, a changeup and a hard breaking ball.

en So far his breaking ball is better than last year. He's also throwing his change with confidence. He can throw it for strikes when he's behind in the count. Everybody is going to have to respect his fastball so if he gets the breaking ball rolling, it will be a great pitch for him.

en It doesn't feel like it's all there like last year. There are times when I just have to keep pushing. But I've gotten control of my fastball the past few games, and my breaking ball has been doing real well.

en I saw him walking around and figured I'd play him. I said, '[Heck], he's ready.' He got a fastball up and smoked it. He consistently hits the ball hard.

en He wasn't as sharp as his first game, but he still had a good fastball. He struggled with the breaking ball and the change-up. But when he needed it, he had his fastball and he located it.

en He needs to get a better breaking ball, and he needs to get control of his fastball. If he does that, he'll be a big league pitcher for a long time.

en Class M is a very deep, very tough division. I haven't seen this kind of quality in this division in a long time. Our goal Tuesday will be to improve on our times.

en He still has his velocity. His command is a big thing. He's missing with his changeup. His last two times out, he's given up home runs on high changeups. He's also having a hard time getting his breaking ball where he wants it.

en He still has his velocity, ... His command is a big thing. He's missing with his changeup. His last two times out, he's given up home runs on high changeups. He's also having a hard time getting his breaking ball where he wants it.

en He has really found a way to throw breaking balls in the strike zone. Guys start sitting on the breaking ball, then he blows a 95-mile-per-hour fastball by them.

en I looked for the same pitch my whole career, a breaking ball. All of the time. I never worried about the fastball. They couldn't throw it past me, none of them.
