en It's different. You've got to win today's game. It's almost like every game's an elimination game. I think it's a compliment to the teams the U.S. played against, and also it's the timing, so you don't get a true read of the teams. How many games of consequence do you have where a catcher plays half a game?

en I don't think it is an elimination game (from the NCAA) for either team. I think it is an important game. If Kentucky wins, certainly it gives them a leg up (over us) because they will have beat us twice. But there is still too much basketball to be played for both teams to say this is an elimination game.

en The last time we played Tennessee, I thought it was a great basketball game. Both teams played well. It was a tie score with 20 seconds to go. Both teams played a pretty balanced game. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. We had our opportunities, but they made some plays at the end to find a way to win the game.

en We control our own destiny, because we play the teams below us. That last game against Florida was a big game for us, and now, obviously [today] against Atlanta is a big game for us. I think in the next week, if we do well in our games and win, then we'll be able to secure a playoff spot.

en In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

en Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.

en In the Wisconsin game and the Michigan game we were winning going into the last two minutes of the game, ... Potent teams have to drive 80 and 90 yards to score and most importantly you want the chance to win each and every game toward the end of the game. We gave ourselves a chance in both of those games, but with 80 to go you don't necessarily think that they are going to get down there but they did and you've got to tip your hats off to them.

en The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.

en This game will bring a lot of recognition to college hockey. Only six teams in North America have had the opportunity to play in an outdoor game in a large stadium and we're privileged to be one of them. Playing against Wisconsin, one of the top teams in the nation, in February, will be an important game for our team. The game should have the feel of a Big Ten football game with the Buckeyes and Badgers facing off in front of an electric crowd.

en We are fortunate to get out of here with a victory. Both teams played some really awesome defense and we just couldn't get our offense in gear in the second half. This is another game that we proved to ourselves that we can win basketball games with our defense. I don't know if we would have won this game in the past. Now we are a different team.

en We've played some pretty good ballgames against numerous teams for a half, 30 or 38 minutes of a game. We know we can play with these teams. Tonight, we came in prepared like we did in other games, but this time, we carried it out.

en Quarterbacks today are just trying to keep their teams in games, instead of losing games. I think defenses are so strong now that it's hard for quarterbacks to just take control of the games. With parity being the way it is, you just don't have dominant teams. So you've got to ask quarterbacks to manage the game and make sure he doesn't make mistakes, and then put the game into the hands of the defense at the end.

en He has been very consistent. He played a lot of plays in the [Dallas] game. He played well in the game and on special teams. He certainly did a good job.

en I knew Auburn would give us its best game, and we can expect that every week from teams as an undefeated and ranked team. (Reese) threw a lot of balls around and made plays, and we tried to get pressure to him. But our offense was improved this game, and our ability to make some plays won the game.

en As a group, I don't think it was our best effort. It is always tough to tie. It was a very exciting game and both teams could have won it. Our first-half performance was a level down and it affected the outcome of the game. We need to learn from that. We definitely came back in the second half and played with a lot more energy. It was a great battle.
