Every time we go to a meet we're struggling for second or third place. We haven't hit second yet. We were so close at Vinton County.

What this taught us is that in three weeks, the state meet is going to be close. This prepared us for that close meet. These seniors haven?t experienced a state championship and they want to be part of one. Sometimes you don?t realize how close it can be until a meet like this. This lets us know where we need to double up and get some extra points.

Right now, I would say the Vinton-Jackson County area probably has the most, but they are spreading.

With the hurricane and with everything we haven't had a time that we could meet together, but we're still planning on meeting with people from the county to see if they have any interest.

We haven't had a close game since the Porter County Conference finals. We wanted to get the kids time but we don't want to risk another injury.

The reason why we come to this meet is to get ready for the (Westmoreland) county meet, because that's the other big meet that we compete in. And, right here, you're seeing the best from Western Pennsylvania. In the two-mile relay, getting third here is real good.
