Most people didn't expect us to make the playoffs, let alone to be second in (Region 5-3A).

But I expect the team to make the playoffs. That's a given. I expect to perform well in the playoffs. We've got to evaluate the whole thing because it's not working right now.

When we started this year we had a goal of winning the World Series. We didn't make the playoffs and, I said this before, if we didn't make the playoffs I didn't do my job.

It's your goal starting out to make the playoffs. I didn't see not making the playoffs, no, I didn't, not at all. First, I didn't see the trade (with Boston) coming. I didn't see going into the development direction. But again, you've got to be ready for that and flexible for that as an organization being on the same page.

I believe this region ended up tougher than a lot of people thought it would. Going into the playoffs, I think we can surprise some people as a region.

I still say it's an accomplishment to make the playoffs in the NHL, but we're not sitting here saying we are satisfied. But there are 14 other teams that battled down to the wire and didn't make it who probably wish they were in our position. We have something to build on. We have the same group of forwards, the goaltending is the same, three or four D, the same coaching staff, so hopefully we can build on that.

We really battled back for about six weeks there. We didn't expect to make the playoffs but we had a lot of players playing well for next year. And then we got hurt again.

I can't say enough about how proud I am of this team winning 19 games and the region title. A lot of people didn't expect us to be here.

I expect every team in the state playoffs to make a run. It doesn't matter how far ahead you are. And I expect us to make those free throws in the end.

I had said it would be a big disappointment if the team didn't make the playoffs. I'm not sure that we have enough guys that are hungry enough to want to be in the playoffs. The toughness to be able to get there sometimes doesn't show up. I take responsibility for that. That's my job to make them tougher or whatever it takes for them to be able to play.

I told our team that it's to be expected. Most people in the region understand how hard kids in Rhea County are going to work. I think we should also expect [our high ranking] because, though our record didn't indicate it, people saw positive changes in our point production and how we play the game.

Every year we set out to win the region and make the state playoffs. [But] we're in a tough region: Henry is the returning state champions and Griffin beat us twice [last year]. We don't have an easy game. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way.

People can talk about playoffs, playoffs, but we're just trying to get better. If we don't make the playoffs and just carry it onto next season, this is good.

If we're competitive, we have great fans here. Calgary is a wealthy city, and Alberta is a wealthy province. The problem isn't the small market -- our problem is for seven years, we haven't got into the playoffs. We have to make the playoffs and show all the people. If we come up and make the playoffs this year, this franchise could take off big time.
