We had two very good practices leading up to this match. The coaching staff prepared us well and we were able to execute our game plan just as we practiced it.

I am pretty shocked. This is a team (Ridge View) that is not as good as us. Our coaching staff had a good game plan, but it comes down to execution and we didn't execute and helped them out with turnovers.

I don't think you will find a coaching staff as prepared as these guys. Did we implement the game plan every night? No. A lot of times we deviated from that and, ultimately, we paid for it.

We have a lot of confidence. Maybe the world doesn't believe that we can go out and win, but to beat the No. 1 and No. 2 and No. 3 seeds, you've got to have confidence. We felt like with the guys and coaching staff that we have in this locker room, we could get the job done. We've just got to go out and execute our game plan and make plays, and everything will take care of itself.

We didn't execute our game plan today. Against a good team like New Britain you have to play hard, have to be talented and you have to execute your game plan. We did two of the three.

We just didn't match their intensity, four quarters, you know. Sometimes we played decent, scoring, making plays, but then we wouldn't execute like we should. There was a lot of frustration, you could feel it. The offense, the coaching staff. We just weren't executing.

I think when you look at what we want to be accomplishing, we want to be building momentum heading into the tournament. It doesn't matter who we play. Looking at the Lewis match, we want to come out with a game plan and execute that game plan, and if we do that, we build confidence in our players and in their teammates.

I think the coaching staff did a good job of really drilling them before we even practiced for the first time about getting down to business. That's the approach they apparently have taken this week.

I think the coaching staff down there is one of the best coaching staffs in the league. They get you prepared to play games. If there is any piece of film that is going to give an advantage, they provide it for you. We expect them to be prepared to play.

Right now we're still trying to search for that win. It doesn't get any easier. ... It's all in our control. We're the ones playing. All the coaching staff can do is continue to create strategies and game plans for us to go out and execute. We have to play the game. Our coaches had a hell of a game plan. They dissected them like no other. We were prepared. All we had to do was go out and execute.

We played pretty good. I have great parent and coaching staff support. Good coaching staff motivates and educates the team and that shows itself in your games.

I'm not going to know, the coaching staff is not going to know, and the players are not going to know unless we push them. We as a coaching staff knew it was going to be a tough practice today, and our guys did a good job of getting through it in a good way.

We're anxious to get started, ... This team has a lot of talent and a lot of potential. Putting it all together is going to be a tough assignment for the coaching staff because all 14 players on our roster are very good. Our practices are going to be very competitive.

Marty has demonstrated that he is one of the top offensive minds in the game and he's proven that throughout his NFL coaching career. We're happy to have had him on staff for the past three seasons and with that we feel this transition will be seamless for him and for the rest of the coaching staff.
