en I'm really happy with the way we came out and moved the ball today. We wanted to come out and be more aggressive today. I thought we did a good job of that. But our special teams was good. Our offense was good. And the defense was good. We play like that, and we have a chance to beat anybody.

He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. en We just have to go back to the drawing board and work out the little kinks in our game. They got two goals today from the run of play. In the last few games, we've been very good in the run of play. We've been worrying about our set plays. I thought we did well on the set plays tonight. Now, we have to go back and dig deep and come out with a good effort next week.

en King and Mapes were two keys to our success today. Annie is one of our senior co-captains and she?s very deserving of that. She showed up well today, hammered the ball and made good choices. Cheryl was very consistent from the service line ... as good as she?s been all year.

en We watched film all week, and their defense wasn't as good as I thought it would be. When we were watching film, I thought their defense was pretty good. Coach told us all week it was going to be whoever was going to be physical.

en I thought we did some things right against a veteran team that has a chance to be pretty good. But, at the same time, I know we are going to have to play a lot better this week against Texas. Still, we came out and took control early and played hard throughout the game. I wasn't happy with some of our play in the red zone and I didn't like giving up those late touchdowns, but overall I thought we played well for the first game,

en We started off kind of bad and we didn't play good defense behind Wes. I thought when we had it at 6-6 we had it under control, and it just wasn't meant to be today.

en They have a lot of history picking up free agents, guys who weren't drafted, ... I thought that I would have a good opportunity to come in and make the team with my heart and my hard work, the way I play. I play very aggressively and tenacious on defense, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for me.

en I knew we were so close, it was just a matter of doing it. I thought we could do it last week, I thought we'd do it the week before, but we didn't. It just felt good to get it done today.
