I said No.' He's like, Well, why don't we have an Easy Rider party at Mark's [Steven Johnson, director] place and I'll narrate the film for you guys.' And so, literally, he did!

en There's going to be days that are easy and smooth, and there are days that are not going to be. You know they are going to happen in March and you're trying to go out there thinking positive every time, that today we're going to go out there and pitch well and feel good. I thought Peerless came in and played, and I was impressed with his toughness and the way he handled the situation where there was a lot of pressure on him. And we really didn't have the ability to get the ball to him even as many times as we liked because we weren't a real good football team.

en I played really well today. It wasn't easy out there, it was a little windy. But I'm very happy with my round.

en They played like freshmen, ... Maybe they learned something. The only thing I didn't like was our quarterbacks couldn't hit a receiver. If we can get our quarterbacks ironed out, we've got a chance to be a pretty good team.

en I was looking for someone that was willing to give me a chance to play the game the way I played again. He definitely allowed me to do that. ... It wasn't necessarily what he had done with quarterbacks in the past, although it never hurts to be a part of a team or with a coach that has had great offensive success and great success with quarterbacks.
