The stats aren't very ordsprog

The stats aren't very good, but I thought the way our quarterbacks played, you feel good because each of those three made some really good plays.

Defensively, all our speed showed up. Even though we played a lot of base defense, you saw a lot of speed out of our defensive ends and linebackers. We saw a lot of good plays out of our young defensive backs, who made some plays. I thought David Irons played good.

I thought he looked good. He didn't get a lot of ice time. ... I thought, for tonight, it was a good start as long as he's not hurt. I thought he made some good plays. He had some opportunities, and I think he'll just get better and better.

That's a tough one, I thought that we played well right on through. I thought that we played a good second half of the third period. Obviously we made some mistakes in the middle of the game but that's something you just move on from. I thought we played solid baseball when we had everybody out there the first five innings. We played pretty good defense and we had some good at-bats. It was a good opening weekend.

To get close enough ... making some free throws ... in 24 hours we could be playing for the conference championship. I thought SEMO played well. They made some big plays down the stretch. I thought we got beat by a good team that played well.

He had good composure, ... Now he has plenty of things that he can improve on. It wasn't that he played an error-free game, but he made a number of good plays, a number of good plays in that game.

It was a good win for our kids. I thought that our offense played well, our defense played well, and we made some big plays on special teams.
